Melissa Carone Becomes a Star

Melissa Carone has had the courage to testify and as a result she is being held up to ridicule.

The Michigan House Oversight Committee hearings have provided some interesting information.  Contrary to what Attorney General Barr has stated (“to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”) and what the AP has reported ("Donald Trump’s persistent, baseless claims") there appears to be overwhelming evidence of fraud.  It is repeatedly asserted, "Claims of widespread voter fraud and accusations that Democrats engaged in a coordinated scheme to steal the election have been repeatedly debunked."  The repetition does not necessarily make it true.

An extremely effective witness was Melissa Carone.  Carone has been pilloried because she was not sufficiently obsequious when responding to our elite legislators.  It is claimed that she must have been drunk.  She appeared to be "slurring her words."  Her past has been gone over with a fine tooth comb.  She has a criminal history.  Everything is being done to discredit her except for an analysis of what she is alleging.  Her testimony is just dismissed.  

In defense Carone's critics she does sound like a "valley girl."  This is a dialect that frequently reveals a lack of seriousness.  However, a close review of her testimony does not suggest that she lacks intelligence.  It also does not reveal any slurred speech.  At 6:49 of the video Carone had to assist Rep. Cynthia Johnson find the word “oath.”  Perhaps Rep. Johnson had been drinking.  Carone's major failing was that she was not sufficiently humble.

The chair of the committee, Matt Hall, asked her, "But why is that we’re not  having  more people come forward?"  Her response explains why so few people have come forward: "I’ll tell you why.  My life has been destroyed.  My life has been completely destroyed because of this.  I’ve lost family.  I’ve lost friends.  I’ve been threatened.  My kids have been threatened.  I’ve had to move.  I’ve had to change my phone number.  I’ve had to get rid of social media.  Nobody wants to come forward.  They’re getting threatened. Their lives are getting ruined.  I can’t even get an actual job anymore because democrats like to ruin your lives.”  She is not the only person to allege intimidation.  

Melissa Carone was completely aware of the fact that she could be prosecuted for filing a false affidavit.  She testified, "I am a mother.  I have two children and I have two degrees.  I would never, I don’t know any woman in the world that would write an affidavit under oath just to write it.  You can go to prison for this."  Whether Carone is telling the truth or not is irrelevent to her fate.  If the Deep State is allowed to pursue its opponents they will all be headed for prison.  They have defied the Deep State and are therefore on the side of evil in its eyes.  

It is not the job of private citizens to investigate voter fraud.  It is the job of the Justice Department.  That is what the American taxpayers pay them for.   Yet there are several examples of whistleblowers who have gone to the FBI and have been ignored.  Carone claims she originally reported her findings to the FBI and they did not respond.  A Minnesota State Representative, Steve Drazkowski claims he contacted the FBI and was "stonewalled."  His allegations only became public because he contacted James O’Keefe of Project Veritas.  A postal worker, Richard Hopkins, who signed an affidavit claiming voter fraud was not ignored.  He was visited by Agent Strasser recorded saying, "I am trying to twist you a little bit."  Hopkins was placed on unpaid leave.  His story only went public because of Project Veritas.  These are only the stories that have been publicized.  There are possibly many more.  

Media Coverage of Election Fraud

Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani have compiled hundreds, if not thousands, of affidavits from people swearing that they witnessed election fraud in the presidential election. In addition Powell has affidavits from whistleblowers who admit they participated in the election fraud.  The Deep State media are unanimously claiming there is no evidence of election fraud.  This is similar to their reporting that there were "mostly peaceful" demonstrations while fires are seen raging in the background.  Why do they make assertions that are obviously false.  Commentator Theodore Dalrymple may provide the answer.  "In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One's standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to."

In spite of a flood of media reports that there was no election fraud, Rasmussen Reports polling company reports that 75 percent of Republicans surveyed believe it is very likely that a second term was stolen from President Trump.  In addition 30 percent of Democrats polled believe the election was stolen.  The constant repetition of the "no election fraud" meme appears to disprove Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels claim that, "A lie told once remains a lie but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth."  

Election fraud has also contributed to the publics loss of faith in our institutions.  Those agencies relied upon to investigated crimes like voter fraud have shown themselves to be ineffective.  Indeed, there is ample evidence that they have worked to cover up misdeeds.  Richard Hopkins, a USPS employee, signed a sworn affidavit alleging ballot tampering and fraud.  Hopkins was put on unpaid leave USPS for blowing the whistle on the backdating of ballots. He was visited Agent Russell Strasser, from the USPS Office of the Inspector General, who attempted to have Hopkins change his story.  Among Strasser's recorded statements were, “I am trying to twist you a little bit” and “I am scaring you here…”  The FBI reportedly had Hunter Biden's laptop in October 2019.  The apparently did nothing

with it.

Endless investigations of President Trump based on the flimsiest of evidence have received generous media coverage.  Questionable behavior by Joe Biden is overlooked.  Biden actually bragged about his interference in a Ukrainian criminal case that may have involved his son.  Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings, a company that allegedly gave over $3,000,000 to Hunter Biden. Biden is videotaped threatening to withhold a billion dollars of aid if the prosecutor is not fired: “I said, ‘you’re not getting the billion’ … I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch, he got fired." 

If the present voter fraud is not thoroughly investigated and the guilty prosecuted there will never be another honest election in the United States.  The Deep State will determine who will be President.  Government agencies that have not already been infiltrated by the Deep State will be completely dominated.  Fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution will be suppressed.

Prepare For The Arrival Of The “Great Firewall of China.”

Social media companies have not been completely successful in censoring information that is unfavorable to the Deep State.  Government may have to step in.

Conservative frequently complain about Twitter and Facebook policies that censor conservative views.  Even “moderates” admit that these social networking services are biased against conservatives.  The Wrap reports, “Twitter and Facebook have been increasingly proactive in moderating content.”  Moderating content is a euphemism for censoring.  Twitter and Facebook are social networking services that are privately owned.  It is argued that they are entitled to deny service to anyone they choose.  (Could they deny service on the basis of race?)  Their influence on public opinion cannot be overstated, however.  In addition to social networking services, website and blog hosting services are capable of denying service.  Recently WordPress, the world’s largest website and blog hosting service informed the site, The Conservative Treehouse, that it was being deplatformed.  The reason given was "the incompatibility between your site’s content and our terms."  Social media have censored a large amount of information.  However, they have not been 100% effective.  They will be making improvements.

Social media censorship has had a major impact on public opinion.  This was dramatically illustrated by the media treatment of the New York Post article dealing with the Hunter Biden laptop.  Twitter and Facebook blocked platform links to the New York Post revelations of the Biden family scandals.  This obviously had an impact on the presidential election.  Mark Zuckerberg argued that his company’s delay in releasing the article was to allow time for their own fact checkers to vet it.  Twitter’s Jack Dorsey admitted “this action was wrong” in Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden emails.

Of course Americans are protected by the Second Amendment.  Government censorship can not happen here.  We are a nation of laws, not men.  We have free and fair elections.  (Please excuse the sarcasm.)  However, if the private media companies are not able to filter out unapproved opinion the government may be forced to step in.  Terrorist and racist posts must be blocked.  This must be done for the greater good; to protect the American public.  Fortunately Facebook has been able to team up with people like ex-Stasi agent Anetta Kahane, founder of the Amadeu Antonio Foundation.  Still,  if this fails the government must step in.  The system is already in place and only needs to be imported.

The Chinese government has implemented a variety of strategies to censor the Internet.  They are referred to as the “Great Firewall of China.”  The government maintains complete control over the Internet.  The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) controls access to the worldwide web.  Their social media app WeChat employs artificial intelligence to scan and delete images considered to include banned content. There are over 10,000 websites blocked in China including the New York Times, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.  Chinese tech firms employ thousands of censors.  Facebook plans to increase the number of its employees who review and delete content on the site from 4,500 to 7,500.  According to The Wrap “China is a leader in developing and exporting internet censorship tools.”  It concluded, "Internet censorship in China will likely get more rigorous."

Government censorship is obviously nothing new.  It has been countered in various ways.  One effective way is the production of Samizdats (Russian for self-publishing).  Samizdats were a form of resistance where individuals reproduced censored publications, often by hand, and passed the documents from reader to reader.  The Soviets saw this as a serious threat and harsh punishment was meted out to people caught possessing or copying Samizdats.
